We are learning about the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah this half term. See what your child can remember about what they have learned so far.

The children are having an AMAZING time in their Rocksteady lessons. A huge thank you to our teacher Cody for making them so FUN! 🤩

We have just decided a date for our Rocksteady concert in December so stay tuned for more details in the next few weeks…

Year 1 have enjoyed learning about seasonal changes. We have also been learning about why we have night time and day time. The children created some artwork to show day and night on Earth.

Well done to all the members of the SJB community that braved the rather challenging weather on Saturday evening ☔️

Hopefully all the lovely lanterns, either made at home or in our SJB lantern workshop, made it to the end of the parade in one piece!

As you can see here the carpet in Year 4 was in a very sorry state.

A huge thank you to ABcarpets and Flooring in Ulverston. We could not afford to replace the grotty, old carpet. ABcarpets and Flooring provided a free carpet and fitted it too. Doesn’t it look lovely!
