Welcome
It is a great privilege to be the Headteacher of Sir John Barrow School, a successful and inclusive nursery and primary school, in the very heart of the Ulverston community.
Our motto Succeeding, Enjoying, Belonging encompasses who we are and what we are about. It is our highest priority for all our children to succeed, enjoy their school life and experience a strong sense of belonging. We are proud of our children and they play a very active part in the running of their school.
SJB, as it is affectionately known, values its strong relationships with parents and carers and the wider community. We benefit from having a skilled governing body, an active parent group and exciting and innovative links with business and the local community.
Our doors are always open, so if you would like to visit and see for yourself, just give the office a call to make an appointment.
With kind regards,
Mrs Helen Pearson
Headteacher
