Prosody is an important part of reading. Listen to Darcey in Year 1 following the punctuation in the book and using her voice to make it sound interesting for the reader. This is what happens in the prosody session during our Little Wandle reading sessions. 📕 📚
Well done to our four Year 6 pupils who won the UVHS tennis tournament this week. All of their scores were combined and they emerged at the top of their group.




Year 4 enjoyed their trip to Manchester, which included a visit to the IWM. We learned of the horrors of war. We also met a real-life evacuee from the Second World War, who was happy to share her experiences with us. Later in the day we loved our trip to the theatre, when we saw ‘School of Rock’.
