Reception tomorrow.
Children in Years 3 and 5 took part in Storyfair on Saturday. This is part of the Furness Traditions Festival. Their performances were truly impressive and very entertaining. This project is fantastic! It is so much fun for the children and the educational benefits are huge. Photos to follow.








SJB at the county final for orienteering!
We had winners in 2 of the 4 groups and a host of top 10 places.
Brilliant from all of you.

Your bowling, batting and fielding was brilliant.





Years 3 and 5 had a lovely afternoon going to the Coronation hall to practise for their performance on Saturday.
They all worked very hard and performed brilliantly.



Our athletics team have had a busy day today.
Year 3 and 4 competed this morning and we will know the result from the competition soon.
Year 5 competed this afternoon and won 6 out of the 8 races. They should be very pleased.
Well done for your efforts in club.








Today two teams went to play at the UVHS cricket festival.
We are very pleased with the boys and the effort they have put in at lunchtimes.
We are looking forward to next week’s event.




Year 2 had a busy morning making their clay pots. On Wednesday we looked at examples of African pots and designed our own. Once they are dry we will paint our designs onto them.
