We are delighted to be taking part in a summer term reading challenge. Mr Reddy introduced us to some wonderful and exciting new books based around the theme ‘My Castle Adventure’.

The challenge is to read six books between now and the end of term. Very soon the challenge record card will be appearing in the back of our reading records. We can use this to collect stickers for each book we read. Then, along with many other schools, we’ll vote for our favourite book of the challenge.

Please enjoy sharing the books and the reading together as a family. Also, look out for extra exciting activities along the way like word searches and colouring sheets.

Finally, please remember to swap or return each book promptly. We only have 20 books and our aim is for as many children as possible to benefit from this exciting and exclusive Year 2 opportunity.
