Year 1 have had a busy day taking part in lots of PE games and other different adventures!

Some of our class bubbles were out on the playground today taking part in our School Games Day.

We really focussed on our school sport values and awarded points to pupils who showed determination, team work and respect.

We had games of hockey, rugby, rounders and cricket going on alongside relays, hurdles, discus and sprinting.

Green team came out on top with 143 points and the sport value with the most nominations was determination.

In Reception Class we have been learning about shapes this week. We have made our own superheroes using 2D shapes.

In school we have designed a page for everyone to complete as part of the end of year book.  If you would like to be in the book, please complete the PPT slide below and return it to school as an email attachment.  You can change the headings in the boxes if you want. I will send you a final version to approve before the book is finalised.  Remember you can be in the book or complete the page as a leaver’s card for yourself.  It would be really helpful if you could let school know if you do not want to be in the book or make a card.  Please return the page to me by Monday 13th July.
