The last two weeks Year 1 have been learning all about the Easter story. We have had our own own special feast and made stained glass crosses. They make our classroom look lovely!

Year 6 practised making simple circuits. Then they investigated changing the components and the number of cells (batteries).

Year 2 have had a busy afternoon making their Clay dragon eyes.

The call will be a quick video session (about 10 minutes) sharing a book and hopefully making reading at home a little bit easier for you all. Slots will be on Mondays and Tuesday between 4pm and 5pm or between 7pm and 8pm (to give me chance to get home!)

Year 2 have been investigating and drawing Dragon Eyes in Art this week. Today we produced our own dragon eye design ready to make out of clay next week.

Miss Robinson took the Nursery children into the wildlife area for a walk. They kept their eyes and ears open for signs of Spring. They found the daffodils have started to grow and many plants are starting to emerge. The children inspected our apple tree and spotted buds and one small ant crawling up the bark. They are looking forward to longer, brighter and sunnier days ahead. ☀️🤞🌳🌼

Year 1 have been superstars with their fact-families today! Miss Gardiner is very impressed with you.

It was the first time on our new equipment for many Nursery children and they absolutely loved it! They had a real ‘have a go’ attitude and tried balancing, jumping, crawling and climbing. They helped each other and waited patiently for their turn when someone else was using the equipment. Well done, Nursery. You were super stars! 🌟

Also a selection from Year 4. Simply wonderful – thank you.

We’ve had a wonderful and busy day celebrating World Book Week. We announced our winners at home time so they have their coats on! Fantastic effort everyone.
