Year 2 have had a busy week learning how to use compasses, maps and OS map symbols ready for their trip to Grizedale Forest tomorrow! 🌲 🌳 🌲

We explored tints and shades yesterday in Art. We mixed white with red to make tints and red with black to make shades.

After our two days of adventuring some children extended the excitement and joined us for a sleepover in school!
We had a great time with ghost walks, games and even a campfire!
