When we combine the girls and boys scores, SJB is the winning school in tag rugby.

Well done to our rugby players today. They won 4 games and drew 1 before losing by a single point in the semi- final.

You defended particularly well. A special mention to Lucy who defended with the sort of skill the Red Roses would have been impressed by.

Narrow losses happen in sport and we hope some of you continue playing rugby at secondary school.

After an energetic game of cricket, time for some puzzles.

Our orienteers have been busy over the last two weeks.

They are improving all the time and we had a winner yesterday.

Year 1 enjoyed making their dioramas in Geography today. We had rainforests from Brazil, deserts from Africa and ice caps from Antarctica. The children worked very hard and were proud of their artwork!

20 Year 5 and 6 pupils went to Ulverston Leisure Centre yesterday for our first orienteering event.

Well done to those pupils who went for the first time and took it in their stride.

Well done Year 6 for your victory on Wednesday at the UVHS Netball tournament.

Your efforts in Netball club have paid off.
