Past and present members of the eco committee celebrated passing the ‘Eco-Schools Green Flag’ award this morning.
A lot of hard work has gone into this great achievement so very well done to all involved.
Our SJB Eco Code is now on display in all our classrooms so we can continue to make a positive impact on climate change.

We are having a very exciting and busy week in Year 5. Today we have been creating felt pictures of woodland creatures with Gill. It’s been brilliant!
Yesterday, Year 5 had a brilliant afternoon and evening with Travelling by Tuba as part of the Ulverston International Music Festival. We took part in a workshop where we learnt how to play a salsa. Then we performed in a concert in the evening.
We would like to give a huge SJB thank you to the Ulverston International Music Festival for giving us this opportunity and to Chris and Stewart from Travelling by Tuba for providing such an entertaining workshop and concert.
Y6 put together some ‘demo’ bags before setting up the production line.
