Travelling by Tuba with Year 5!

Yesterday, Year 5 had a brilliant afternoon and evening with Travelling by Tuba as part of the Ulverston International Music Festival. We took part in a workshop where we learnt how to play a salsa. Then we performed in a concert in the evening.

We would like to give a huge SJB thank you to the Ulverston International Music Festival for giving us this opportunity and to Chris and Stewart from Travelling by Tuba for providing such an entertaining workshop and concert.

Year 6 golf festival- Report by Daisy and Izzy

Today, a group of 12 Year 6 children went to compete against other schools in a golf tournament.

There were 8 different stations in total.

Everyone pushed themselves to do their best despite being nervous. We really hope we have done well.

We scored points at each station and they were all added up at the end.
