The eco committee are looking at the marine environment this term. To support this work they invited the SJB community to take part in a beach litter pick.
Well done and thank you to all the families who gathered on Bardsea beach on a damp, blustery Sunday morning to help out. Thank you also to Becca, Tim and Katherine for organising and providing the kit. As always it was a great success.









Six of our Year 2s had their first experience of athletics at Dowdales School.
Well done and we are sure you will enjoy sports hall athletics in Year 3.


We need sets of 6 to use in our reading groups. If one stays in your house it causes a real problem for us. The books in the picture are examples but lots of other books are missing too.
Today we were delighted to take a group of children to the Gulf Petrol Station to accept a generous donation to our PTA. This will be spent on our playground project.

On Friday, in Year 6, we learnt how plastic bags can be repurposed into yarn and used to make purses and bags.

Particular mention must go to the Year 5 runners. They ran on their way back from their residential in Robinwood. Well done Year 5!
Nobody stopped running and we can confidently say that they gave their all.
Leanne is off to the National Finals in March. Well done Leanne!
