We have been drawing a story map today outside in the sunshine planning where our stories are going to take place.

Year 6 have been working very hard on becoming a drumming group ; learning different rhythms and playing together. A lot were inspired by performances they saw at Another Fine Fest this weekend so they performed for Year 4. The children were very nervous but did an amazing job! Check out our video below…

Year 3 and 5 are very excited to start their storytelling project with Dominic. We are going to learn some traditional tales to perform at the Furness Traditions festival in July.

Brilliant teamwork girls! Well done!
They are off to the county finals soon!

Well done to our Year 6 group of mathematicians who came 27/199 in their semi final.
Some excellent answers and some very tough questions!

Well done to all of you.
A special well done to the Under 9s and all those who ran in the very heavy rain!

Well done Team SJB!
Netball champions for the third year in a row!
Thank you Miss Salmon for coaching the team!

Year 5 had the amazing opportunity yesterday to attend the Ulverston International Music Festival and take part in a workshop. The workshop was all about the famous music and story called Peter and the Wolf. We were very excited to see professional musicians perform the piece.
Thank you to Nicola who organised this event and thank you to Ruth and the Orchestra for providing such an amazing workshop and experience.
