The children were given their chance to vote this morning in their classes.
They heard the opposing arguments from eight Year 6 children in assembly as part of our SJB Parliament.
86 children voted for the motion.
74 voted against.
5 abstained
We will now therefore have one group of girls and one group of boys per class at sports day.

Year 4 had a lovely time wrapping and packing their shoebox gifts to be sent to Romania. We wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all of those who have supported us in our campaign. Most especially we would like to thank two ladies, clearly first class knitters, who have so kindly made all of our knitted hats and toys. They have supported us for a number of years now and we really are so very grateful.
Yesterday, Year 5 had the exciting opportunity of working with Horizon Studios to create some music using advanced technology. The children recorded their own loops which was then mixed into a track. They had a brilliant time. Check out one of our tracks below!
We would like to say thank you to Josh and Josh for such engaging and exciting sessions.

We are in the main hall right by the doors. Come and see us and all the other amazing activities.

Thank you to all our Year 4 children and parents/helpers who work hard to create our wonderful model Anglo-Saxon village. Our collection of models really did look very effective in the autumnal sunshine this afternoon.

Today we marked two minutes silence at 11:00. The children were quiet and respectful. Thank you to Miss Sadler for playing for us. Thank you to the three children who laid a wreath on behalf of SJB on Sunday.
