There’s a story for Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 but I definitely recommend these to all junior children.  I think my class, Year 6, will love them.

For the last couple of years we have been very lucky to be involved in a story telling project. This has been in the juniors and, last year, our storyteller, Dominic, worked with Years 3 and 4. I think the children who have already been involved would agree when I say that Dominic is very entertaining.

This year the plan was to expand the project and include Year 5 as well. Unfortunately, as we know, things got in the way. However, John and Dominic were undeterred and have been working hard to create some stories for you to enjoy at home.

The plan is that there will be a story each week for six weeks.  These are aimed at Years 3, 4 and 5 but of course anyone can watch.  

Just to get you interested, here’s a video of four of our children in Year 5 telling the story of the Sleeping King last year at Sir John Barrow Cottage.  There are lots more clips like this and once we are back in school we can look at them together.

Next I’ll post the link to Dominic’s page with the first three stories.
