In Year 5 we have been painting our very own Greek Vases. We used a mixture of watercolours and acrylic paint.
We designed our vases based upon our favourite myths. Can you guess which myths we used?

All you need to play this game is a dice, pencil and paper. The aim of the game is to use your adding and times table skills to race to 100 or more if you want a challenge! On the first roll of the dice, multiple the number by 10. Everyone takes one turn at a time, but for each round you all decide whether you simply add the number on the dice in ones or multiply by ten until you get to 100. For a more difficult version of the game use harder times tables like 2s, 3s or 7s and race to 200!

Year 1 had a creative afternoon using the loose parts play equipment!

We spent far more time than we should have done listening to one of Dominic’s stories and doing some of the storytelling activities. We feared the worst in the middle of the story (Year 4: Three Aunts). See if you can predict the ending.
In Reception we loved practising our letters today. We focused on s and e. We used paintbrushes to paint our letters on sandwich bags filled with paint. Why not try this at home!

All those who took part in his activities should be very proud.

Today in Reception we have been continuing to focus on tallest and shortest. We have built three towers each and talked about which was the tallest and which was the shortest! Can you do the same at home?

We played out on the grass this afternoon and we saw a cat with a mouse in its mouth!
Later on we picked some strawberries for an afternoon snack and we found some mint which we decided smelled like toothpaste.
