Thank you to all our Year 4 children and parents/helpers who work hard to create our wonderful model Anglo-Saxon village. Our collection of models really did look very effective in the autumnal sunshine this afternoon.

Remembrance

Today we marked two minutes silence at 11:00. The children were quiet and respectful. Thank you to Miss Sadler for playing for us. Thank you to the three children who laid a wreath on behalf of SJB on Sunday.

Cross Country Championship qualifiers: Well done SJB!

Great running today SJB! It was great to see 40+ runners competing today. Well done to those running for the first time. We have 14 runners off to the Cumbria Cross Country Championships! Brilliant!

Year 2 Art – Collage

We started our collage unit today. We experimented with cutting and tearing tissue paper. Then we used the technique of ‘overlapping’ to create different effects.
