Year 1 have been busy this week. We read our new story… Traction Man! We designed a superhero car for him to use. We carefully put the wheels on, painted our cars and decorated them.

We have covered three topics in class since half term. We have looked at staying safe online- computing. The greatest commandments- RE Forces and magnets- science Next week we will starting our final RE topic: The Nativity Story.

Year 2 have been investigating the properties of 3D shapes in Maths this morning.

Year 2 have started their Science unit on Materials this week. We have been investigating which materials we can squash, bend, twist and scratch.

It’s ‘dead complicated’ to make a Mummy (tee-tee) but we managed. Well done Ruby on volunteering for the mummy operations table and thank you to Karolina and Maddie for such super additional models.

Year 4 children researched their family histories and discovered family members who served in wars and to whom we are all very grateful. This gratitude continues today as we think of all service personnel, NHS staff and other key workers. … Continue reading →
