Year 5 have been out today completing their Level 1 in cycling proficiency. We wish them luck with tomorrow’s Level 2.

All Year 4 children greatly enjoyed making their Roman mosaic tiles. It’s amazing what you can do with old CD cases and some pasta, dried lentils and beans (and a little patience, of course).

This week’s theme was Transport. The children made a range of models from Titanic to a personal transporter.

Year 2 have started making their moon buggies this week. We have been painting, measuring and sawing!

As part of our Stone Age topic, we created our own cave paintings on stones and in our very own pretend caves (under the tables!).

Tonight the KS1 choir performed at the Coronation hall to a full audience in Ulverston Voices. They sang Yellow Submarine by The Beatles and then joined the other schools in Ulverston to perform ‘Hats Away’ along with Furness Academy. The … Continue reading →
