9 Year 5 pupils debated today in front of KS1 and KS2.
The motion was: Should Ulverston have a McDonalds?
The audience listened to the debate and had their chance to vote at the end.
They were all informed that in our democracy MPs make the decisions.
The Year 5 debaters got the deciding vote. They voted 6 votes to 3 against the motion. Most of the audience agreed with them.
