Little extra in Year 5

Some children in Year 5 have been using maths games designed by University of Cumbria students. One involved time and one was very handy for learning times tables. They have all enjoyed using them.

More science at UVHS

The other half of Year 5 went to UVHS on Thursday to complete 5 science investigations. Having access to UVHS resources is great for our science learning and we feel ready to enter the science competition in July.

Year 4 football tournament.

9 of our Year 4s went to Ulverston Leisure Centre today for a football tournament. They came back really pleased with themselves and again showed the benefits of being in clubs.
