The Royal Navy visit SJB

We were delighted to welcome CPOET(WESM) Walker and his wife to SJB. Together they gave a fantastic presentation to our Year 6 children. Chief Walker spoke about his life in submarines – a life not so much on the ocean wave as under it – and the important roles these vessels play in the defence of our country. Mrs Walker spoke about the theme of remembrance and why it is so important to honour our war dead and to give generously to the Royal British Legion, who look after so many of our forces’ veterans. They were a great team and had us hanging on their every word. Thank you so much for such a tremendous presentation and also for al the Royal Navy goodies that you brought in for us all.
