Forest School Year 5

Year 5 had their first chance to make a tool this week. They used their skills from Year 4 to make their own mallet. Bow saws, bill hooks and sheath knives were in use during the two days outside.

It is our aim to increase independence as much as possible at SJB to the point that teachers can take a step back and observe.

It is also our aim to promote a love of the outdoors by giving the children chances to be creative and learn new skills.
