Year 6 kicked off our debates for 2017/18 with the motion: Should we bring extinct animals back to life?
As always, they debated back and forth with some for and some against the motion. Children from reception to Year 6 watched them debate and they were able to have their say at the end.
Our audience voted and the YES vote had a tiny majority of the NO vote. However, it was up to our Year 6 debaters, who were acting as MPs, to decide.
It was one of our closest votes as 6 voted YES and 4 voted NO.
Year 5 are up next half term.
