Year 5 visited UVHS for their first full day at secondary school on Monday.
Mr Butler and the staff at the school had arranged some exciting lessons for the pupils. These included crime solving in the science labs and how to survive a volcanic eruption in geography room.
A firm favourite among almost all of Year 5 was the technology lesson where they learnt about food safety and all made a pizza from scratch. It must also be admitted that this was the favourite lesson of certain members of staff as well!
Lunch was a good time to chat in the dining hall as well as complete tasks all around the school.
At the end of the day, lots of worries had been overcome and now Year 5 know far more about the school itself.
Many thanks to Mr Butler and the UVHS team. Great day!
