Safer Internet Day 2017

On Tuesday 7th February, we celebrated Safer Internet Day.
The children have been busy learning about ‘Staying Safe Online’ through weekly assemblies with Mr Emms. Safer Internet Day gave us a great opportunity to share even more information with the children. We introduced the children to Bjorn the bear (he LOVES social media) and discussed how easily an image shared online can unknowingly share a range of personal details.

SJB is a SMART school! We encourage our children to follow the SMART rules when using the internet. If you don’t know the SMART rules, ask your child!

At the end of the day, the children were given a SMART newsletter to take home with them to share with parents/ carers.
