Anchor Festival

As part of the Ulverston Canal Regeneration Groups annual anchor festival, the children of SJB have been busy creating some maritime masterpieces. A selection of children from all over the school have been involved in the design and creation of our anchor entries.

The EYFS  team produced a wonderful anchor painted entirely with the children’s feet.  Y1 and Y2 went for a classic dot design, Y3 and Y4 drew up an image of the canal itself and Y5 and Y6 produced a geometric design based around Team SJB school colours.

Everybody is really excited about seeing the anchors along the canal footpath during half term.

A huge ‘Thank You’ to Miss Stuart for her work coordinating the project within school.
