Buddhist Temple visit-Year 5

On Thursday, Year 5 walked through Ulverston to the Manjushri  Kadampa Meditation Centre.

The children were show around the magnificent temple and were shown different symbols and meditation techniques.

After a brief lunch, the children walked across the grounds of the centre, through the woods and to the coast. Horse chestnut trees lined the path and conkers were easy to spot.

Many thanks to everyone at the temple who looked after us so well. The grounds and the temple are absolutely stunning.

These trips cannot take place without the help of adult helpers. Mr Maher, Mrs Dearden and the children would like to extend an enormous thank you to those who came along for  trip.
