Year 4 enjoyed a full day of Forest School on Thursday and were blessed with some descent weather.
They looked at and identified different trees, made their own insect habitats and learnt how to tie a Clove Hitch.
A favourite for many of them was learning how to use a Bow Saw. This involved lots of team work and perseverance. Their new skills will be very useful when it comes to making objects in Year 5.
The teachers were very impressed with the picture frames that were made. They created a variety of different scenes including hotels, campsites, a desert oasis and even a shopping centre.
Well done Year 4. Year 3 are all out tomorrow!
